Isabel Emily O'Bannon
April 22, 1935 - August 4, 2022

Isabel Emily O'Bannon ended her journey on this Earth, August 4, 2022 after a very brief battle against cancer. In Oelwein, Iowa on April 22, 1935 she took her place in this world. Isabel was the third child of Edward Joseph and Margaret (Peggy) Caballero. The family relocated to Bakersfield, California in 1944 after the sudden death of their father. She attended schools in Bakersfield and graduated from Stockton High. Throughout Isabel's life she was driven by her strong Catholic faith, devotion to her family and her volunteer spirit. She left behind her six children, Melinda (Tony) Mejia, Daniel (Kathy) Godinez, Richard (Addie)Godinez, Julie (Leroy) Bryant, Nancy (Richard) Roe, and Adele (Adam) Bryant. Her eleven grandchildren Corina, Daniel Jr, Anthony (Tojo), Jason, Gary, Travis, Amy, Stevie, Adam Jr, Benjamin, Savannah plus sixteen great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren will carry her love with them throughout their own journeys. All her loved ones are at peace knowing her granddaughter Emily Elizabeth Bryant, Father, Mother, brother Micheal and sisters Genevieve, Ramona and Adele greeted her with love and welcomed her home.
