In loving memory of

Glenna May Sorrill
March 1, 1949 - August 7, 2022

Glenna May Sorrill, age 73, of Liberty, left us Sunday, August 7, 2022, after a short battle with a very aggressive cancer.

Glenna was born March 1, 1949 in Casper, Wyoming, to Max and Lois Berg Brotherton.

Glenna graduated from Liberty High School in 1967. Upon graduation, She and Ron were married. Shortly thereafter they moved to Dearborn, MI, for Ron's job with Ford Motor Company. Upon returning to Liberty, Glenna got a job with Blessing Hospital, starting in the cafeteria. She applied for Blessing Radiology Technical School where she graduated #1 in her class. She spent the rest of her days at Blessing working in radiation therapy. After retirement, she volunteered at the Quincy Public Library Used Book Store.

Glenna was very proud of her family and her Radiology Technician Certification. She loved the outdoors and camping in National Parks all over the U.S.

Anyone who knew her will miss the smile, passion, caring, and that little bit of devil lurking inside.

Survivors include: her husband Ron Sorrill; two sons, Tom (Anthea) Sorrill and Brian Sorrill; four grandchildren, Mathew, Briana, and Jordan Sorrill, and Tiffany (David) Rife; four great-granddaughters; two great grandsons; and three brothers, Roger, Ron (Karen), and Robert Brotherton.

Glenna was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

"I will never forget Glenna. She was one of my best friends. She smiled and laughed a lot, we had such a good time together, no matter what we were doing, which sometimes got us in trouble! We worked together for 12 years. We didn't see each other often after that, but she always had a hug and a big smacking kiss on the cheek!I will deeply grieve and miss her."

"Even after all the years of friendship which we have shared, my favorite mind picture of Glenna is of her at her desk in Beverly school. She is smiling with her beautiful blond curls framing her face. Our sincere condolences to all. "
