Kent W. Johnson Sr.
June 24, 1944 - August 5, 2022

Kent W. Johnson Sr., 78, of Ellisville, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, passed away at 12:58 pm, Friday, August 5, 2022 at his residence. He was born on June 24, 1944 in Bowling Green, MO, to Woodrow and Mary (Pollitt) Johnson. Kent married Janice McCone on October 11, 1963 in Ellisville. She survives along with three children; Kent Johnson Jr of Waynesville, MO, Kimberly Johnson of Independence, MO and Raymonia (Steve) Krieger of Ellisville, son-in-law Jim Dildine of Ellisville, grandchildren James, Jacob and Jennifer along with 14 other grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Stacey Dildine and three brothers; Jack, Larry and Grant Johnson.
Kent retired from Caterpillar Inc and also worked at the Fairview Elevator, Cast Technologies, Fairview Police Department, Police Auxiliary Department for Fulton County and Fairview Fire Protection District.
Services will be 11 am, Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Ellisville Christian Church in Ellisville, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Fairview. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
