Alexis Morning
October 20, 2007 - August 1, 2022

Alexis Morning, 14, left Riley Children's Hospital to become one of God's angels August 1, 2022. She was born in Washington October 20, 2007, to Marina Lou Morning.

Alexis enjoyed listening to music - of any kind, and loved macaroni and cheese. She was associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was looking forward to being a Washington High School freshman this coming school year.

Alexis possessed great energy and had a positive impact on everyone who was lucky enough to know her. She will be forever remembered as being full of love and cheerfulness.

Those who mourn Alexis' passing include her mother, Marina Lou Morning; brother, Jayden Hubbard; sister, Shaylee Morning; grandmother, Tammy Calderon; and great-grandparents, Randall and Sandra Burris, all of Washington. Additionally, Alexis leaves an aunt, Hunter Cardinal, Petersburg; family friend, William Burton; and several great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation for Alexis Morning will be 5:00-6:00 pm, Friday, August 5, 2022, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana. Her funeral service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 6:00 pm. Tim Burris will officiate.
