"When I was 15 or 16, I would spend time with my friend Toni at her house. Sometimes she would be at my house. We sometimes got in trouble and Connie would scold us. She was like a second mother to me then. I lost contact with Toni for about 30 plus years then we reconnected. I couldn?t wait to see Toni , her mom, and dad again. I wish I had visited her more before today. When I think of her, I remember the love she had for her kids?"

Our dear Mom, Consuelo Maldonado Arteaga went home on July 21, 2022 at the age of 94. She was a caring, giving, and loving soul.
To honor our Mom's memory we are holding a celebration of her life gathering on August 1, 2022 at White Emerson Mortuary in Whittier. We would like to invite all to attend and celebrate life as my Mom would want us to.
