Tributes

John W. Tucker wrote on Oct 1, 2022:

"Aunt Koila and Bill gave much of their time to my brothers and I while we were visiting as kids to their and our Grandparents\' farmland in Waverly. We got to help harvest wheat, corn, and work with the livestock. Aunt Koila made the best hamburgers! Sometimes, I, John, went with them to visit Koila\'s mom and dad at a convalescent center. Aunt Koila and Uncle Bill were both very caring people. I even wrote a short comment about them in Book 3 of my trilogy for teens as a writer. In my Dedication Page, I recalled all the funny stories Bill told us and how this influenced me to write and tell my own stories. We, the Tuckers, send our condolences to the Spader families, thankful for Koila\'s long life and enduring love! She was a great inspiration to me; and we will miss her dearly!"
