Scott A. Easley, age 60, of Quincy, died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 11:35 am in Quincy.

Scott was born January 28, 1962 in Quincy, Illinois, the son of Gerald D. "Jerry" and Lola Ratliff Easley.

He received his bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Illinois University.

Scott loved anything and everything about soccer. He was part of the Quincy High School and Illinois State University soccer teams. He was a big fan of Manchester United F.C., and the bands U-2 and Kings of Leon. Scott also coached his children's soccer teams. He was the best dad to his children.

Scott is survived by his mother; three children, Keaton Easley of Chicago, IL, Cole (Kacey Doyle) Easley of St. Louis, MO, and Quinn Easley of Glen Carbon, IL; sister, Joy (Steve) Schmitt of Quincy; two aunts, Sandra Tanner of Auburn, IL, Roberta Wallace of Quincy; special friend, Colleen Donaldson of Springfield, IL; four nieces and nephews, Amanda Schmitt of Quincy, Stephanie (Nathan) Fox, Lindsey (Bill) Shaub, Shana Easley; and numerous cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his father, and his brother, Shon Dean Easley.

Inurnment: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois.

Visitation: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Wednesday July 27, 2022 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
