"I wasn't sure where to post something about this man, my Uncle. My mom was married to his twin, E. Casey Jr. and they all went to school together. I never met Casey, or at least I don't remember if I did. What I do remember is the Borboa clan always loved my mom and us kids, even after the divorce; to this day we have always felt a part of that family. For me, having never met my real father, Uncle Cecil filled a spot that no other could fill. Even though they weren't identical twins, in my little brain, I felt like I was looking at my father, but getting the LOVE of Uncle Cecil. I knew he loved me, and he told me so many times over the years. I am so grateful for FaceBook as it allowed me to re-connect with the Borboa side, which I hold so near to my heart. Whenever I had a question, or just to say hi, it was only a click away. I cried when I saw Lynn's post last week, like uncontrollable sobbing. He was one of a few 'father' figures I've been lucky to have in my life. Oh how I loved that man and will miss him so so much. To Mark, Lynn and Michael and all of the grandkids, please know I pray for you as we all grieve this great loss.
