"Carol was a classy, lovely lady. We were honored to call her a friend. We will dearly miss her. Whether we were sharing a glass of wine, chatting in our quad driveway or out to dinner, she was a joy. One particular dining out at The Johnson House, Carol was in love with the songs played at the piano reminding her of her Irish grandmother singing those songs to her. It was a gift to see her so happy, so joyful and for all of us to cherish that evening together with George too. George & Carol were a couple bookends. They supported each other emotionally, physically with their health concerns and the butt of each other?s jokes, humor and life stories. They were perfect for each other. Greece: Passed away on July 10, 2022. Carol is predeceased by her brother, Richard Wood. She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, George R. Fellows; children, Barbara (Daniel) Brust, Kelly (Russell) Crispino & Mark Fellows; grandchildren, Daniel & Haley Brust, Shaelyn Crispino, Kaitlyn & Julia Fellows; several nieces, nephews & cousins.
Carol was a Syracuse native and was an avid Syracuse basketball fan. She was proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed trips to Ireland & Cape Cod. Most importantly, she deeply loved her family and cherished the time spent with them.
Carol's Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:30 am on Tuesday, July 26th at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road. Memorial donations can be made in Carol's name to Daystar Kids @ https://www.daystarkids.org
