Karen Kae Clark
August 16, 1955 - July 12, 2022

Karen Kae Clark Was born on August 16, 1955 in Clinton Iowa to Paul and Mary (Clausen) Goldensoph. Karen passed away in the early morning of July 12, 2022 in the comforts of her own home. Karen was the beloved mother to Stacey (Goldensoph) Skipworth of Wyoming, Nathan (Amanda) Muhs of Clarence, her two bonus daughters Amanda Clark of Clinton and Rachel Clark of Lost Nation. Karen was married to Randy Edwards for 15 years before marrying Alvin A. Clark of Monmouth on December 22, 2000.

Karen loved to crochet, knit and craft. Karen was a member at Faith United Methodist Church in Monmouth Iowa. Karen was a nurses aide at Maquoketa Care in Maquoketa Iowa for over a decade. Karen loved hummingbirds with a passion for their vibrant colors and "majestic" qualities as she used to put it. Karen will always be remembered for her gentle and caring heart. For those who knew Karen know that family was always a priority in her eyes. Those family values will forever be cherished by her children and grandchildren for generations to come.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Alvin a Clark of Maquoketa, mother Mary T. (Clausen) Goldensoph-Wilkerson of Camanche, sister Lorna (Rich) Hill of Dewitt, Brother David P. Goldensoph of Low Moor and sister Kristi (Wade) Thompson of Low Moor. Karen's 4 children and 14 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews great or otherwise. Karen was preceded in death by her father Paul Goldensoph, her former husband Randy Edwards and her beloved cat Tessie. A private family viewing will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa Iowa. Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life for friends and family will be announced at a later date.
