HILTON - Joanne passed peacefully on July 10, 2022. She is predeceased by her parents, Angelo and Carmella LoVullo; son Scott Nielsen; brothers and sisters. Joanne is survived by her loving husband, Eric Nielsen; son John (Debbie) Nielsen; daughter-in-law, Lisa Oye Nielsen; grandchildren, Jacqueline (Tim) Luksha, Jessica, Katie, Josh, Erica, Sydney, Eric & Anna Nielsen; great-grandchildren, Adalyn, Evalina & Wesley Luksha, Ellianne Colbert & Emerson Nielsen; sister, Dolores Paniccia; brother, David (Marcia) LoVullo; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Joanne's life story will be shared during her visitation at the funeral home, Wednesday, July 13th, 3-7 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). Her Funeral mass will be celebrated, Thursday, July 14th, 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116 in her memory.
