"Darryl was one of the best guys I ever had the privilege to call not only a friend, but family. Even through his worst times he always made sure everybody else was happy, or at least tried to. I'm gonna miss his goofy laugh and hugs. My thoughts are will his entire family. He was truly an amazing soul and i'm so sad to see him gone. Much love to Rissa, Kim and the rest of the family. I love you guys! you know how to get ahold of me"

"To the family and friends of my brother: I am sure we all have seen the best and some maybe even the worst of him, but he had so much love in that big heart of his and never failed to express it. I feel fortunate to have had him in my life. May you rest in peace brother."
