Janet Hastie, 74, of Glenwood, IA passed away on Saturday July 2, 2022 at her home in rural Glenwood. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday July 8, 2022 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood with Pastor Angie Bentley officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the funeral beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be in the Waubonsie Cemetery in rural Glenwood. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Janet and her family.

OBITUARY
Janet Hastie, 74, of Glenwood, IA passed away on Saturday July 2, 2022 at her home in rural Glenwood.

Janet Marie Hastie, daughter of Lowell and Ruby (Needs) Hastie, was born on February 17, 1948 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She married Raymond Wylie on August 18, 1995 in Glenwood, IA. The couple made their home south of Glenwood. She worked for the Tabor Manor for many years.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; daughter and son in law, Marsha and Robbie Harris; great grandson Emmett Woodyard; brothers, Dallas Benedict, Richard Benedict, Dale Hastie and wife Kathy, and Duane Hastie; sister Carol Rose Study; and son in law in love, John Hall.

Janet is survived by her husband Raymond Wylie of Glenwood; daughter Brandie Woodyard and husband Kevin of Shenandoah, IA; daughter in love, Jamie Nosekabel Hall of Shenandoah, IA; grandchildren, Ashley Harms and husband Sid, David Woodyard and fiancé Sadie and Alisha Woodyard and boyfriend Joe; grandchildren in love, Bryan Blankenship, Marsha Hall, and Katelynn Hall; great grandchildren, Nathan Parson, Lyrica Hale, Samuel Woodyard, Brentley Woodyard, MaKenna Gibson, Ember Harms, Maisie Woodyard, Fionna Harms, and Paislee Woodyard; siblings, Keith Hastie and wife Ann, Lila Green and husband Larry, Joe Hastie and wife Pudge, and John Hastie, sister in law Lorraine Hastie, all of Glenwood, and Judy Best of Largo, FL; other relatives and a host of friends.
