"To the family of Kit Johnson:
Her Journey?s Just Begun
Don?t think of her as gone away, her journey?s just begun
Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days or years.
Think how she must be wishing that we could know today
How nothing but our sadness, can really pass away.
And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much.
There's not much else I can say but life goes on.
Keeping the family in my heart always,
Louis Gantt Jr.

"To the family of Kit Johnson:
The Davis family joins Kit?s immediate family in mourning her loss and celebrating her life. We are broken-hearted that some of us can?t be present for her services to express our deep respect for her and gratitude for the many ways she enriched our lives.
She forever lives on in our memories and is a treasured part of the fabric of our family . Her impact on every member of the extended Davis family was enormous, and like no other.
We are putting together a book of pictures and recollections of how loved she is and what she means to each of us and hope to present it to the Johnson family in person next fall.
Meanwhile, on behalf of the entire Davis family, we send our gratitude to the Johnson family for sharing her love and humor and strength with the Davis family
