Beverly Jane Orr
November 11, 1929 - June 23, 2022

Beverly J. (Machado) Orr, 92, of Los Banos, Ca. passed peacefully in her sleep on Thursday June 23, 2022, after a short illness.
Beverly was a born to the late Charles B. and Amelia Machado of Los Banos. She was the first person the local cattle buyers would see when settling their business at the family-owned Los Banos Livestock Market. She attended and graduated from Los Banos High School. She was best known to all for her quick wit and strong business knowledge. She had a total understanding of the livestock industry from a very young age. Upon the sale of the livestock market in 1955, she could be found at the desk of the Los Banos Abattoir until retirement in 1980.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack H. Orr of Los Banos in the year 1999. She is survived by her children Jim and wife Kim and their children Stacia, Jon and Kara, as well as her daughter Jaclyn Arambel and her husband Mitch and their children Jean and Dana. She had three great grandchildren, Parker and Hensley Rios and Harper Orr.
Bev often would sit with her neighbor friends circled around the TV cheering on her favorite team, the San Francisco Giants. She could tell you daily who's carrying the team and who was struggling. She also enjoyed following events in which her children or grandchildren were a part of. She most recently insisted on sitting in the cold Los Banos wind to watch the kids play.
