Fred E. Rosell, 83, of Phoenix, AZ passed peacefully in his sleep on June 8, 2022 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Amelia, and seven children: Eddie Rosell, John Rosell, Cathy Guthrie (Reb), Richard Rosell (Tina), Debra Fox, Angela Bunger (Mike), and Anna Tautimer. He was very proud of his grandchildren: Kristen Bunger, Jonathon Bunger, Nikole Bunger, Ty Fox, Sarah Guthrie, Eleana Rosell, and Marcus Fox. He is also survived by his two brothers, his sister, and many nieces and nephews.

Fred grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and attended North High School, where he excelled in football and track and field. He received a football scholarship to Northern Arizona University. Fred had a long and successful career as a fencing contractor. He enjoyed traveling around Arizona, and visiting family. He enjoyed finding new fishing holes, camping and bowling. His competitive spirit made for many memorable games of Croquet, Yahtzee, Dominoes and Chess. He was a fabulous storyteller and was quick with a joke.

He will be remembered for his words of wisdom, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He loved his family fiercely, and was always ready with an encouraging word or a very honest opinion. He made sure his kids knew that his way was the right way.

"I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I loved Fred as a friend, we had a lot of good times together with a lot of fun and laughter. Our "ritual" upon seeing one another, I would give him a kiss on the cheek wearing red lipstick. He would proudly wear those red lips on his cheek the whole time we visited. Angela, Richard, John and the rest of you kids, your dad was a great person who genuinely cared about others. When I was a single mother, he helped me out with lots of projects. He will be sorely missed! Stay strong in all the memories you have of him - Cindi Logan (Rob)"
