In loving memory of

Dale L. Reis
March 5, 1958 - June 23, 2022

Dale Lee, son of Leonard and Phyllis (Crane) Reis, was born March 5, 1958, in Denison, Iowa. He grew up in Denison and graduated from Denison High School in 1976. During high school, Dale learned the trade of carpentry work. After graduation, he worked at a hardware store and Circle B. Dale then started his own carpentry business which he continued the remainder of his working days.

On June 14, 1980, Dale was united in marriage with Renee Sonksen at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Schleswig. A daughter Stephanie was born to this couple. The family made their home in Denison in the house in which he grew up.
Dale was baptized and confirmed in the United Methodist Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting pheasants, fishing, grilling, working with his hands, and giving Christmas gifts he had made. He loved spending time with his family and cracking jokes. While his cat Scooter was his best bud, Dale obsessed over his granddaughter Mila, who he never got to meet.

On Thursday, June 23, 2022, Dale passed away at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 19 days.
