Monickie Samone Strong was born on December 28, 1988 in Omaha, Nebraska to Demetrius Williams and Brenda Strong. She was the 4th child out of the 6 siblings. Monickie was family oriented and known to make everyone laugh.
Monickie started sports at an early age and excelled in basketball, with team Elite and the Benson Bunnies, where she graduated in 2007. Monickie was awarded a full ride athletic scholarship to Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Ne where she played the game she loved.
Monickie leaves to cherish her memories 1 son Jordan Strong-Allen; mother Brenda Strong; father Demetrius Williams; stepfather Jeffrey Hayes; sister Precious (Monta Sr.) Johnson; brothers Deonti Avant, Ricky Strong, Jeffrey Strong Jr.; grandmother Mary Williams; Godparents Joy and Rich Groene and family; special friends Dominick Ausbie, Brandy Thompson, Lexi Talich, Lesa-Talien-Phillips, Coach Nicole Johnson, and Nashyla Hollins. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncle and friends.
Monickie loved one that preceded in death is her brother Lamond Strong; grandmother Barbara Strong; grandfathers Edward Williams and Leroy Page.
