Alishia's Life Story

Alishia was born on January 10, 1991 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was welcomed into life by her mother, Elizabeth L. Dechamps and father, Larry Bothwell. Alishia's family also included stepfather, Rich Zaso; siblings, Carrie Dechamps, Joshua Griffin, David Dechamps, and Eric Bothwell; and sister-in-law, April Griffin. As kids, they always watched The Simpsons together, and, later on, Alishia even helped raise Josh's puppy, Peaches. Even into adulthood, Alishia and Josh had a strong bond and they left a great impact on each other's lives.

Alishia attended Eastridge Senior High School and excelled in writing during her time there. This love and talent for writing remained a constant in her life, and Alishia always enjoyed composing poems and short stories. She built lifelong friendships in high school with Tara O'Dea and April Griffin. They made great memories at bonfires, boating, listening to music, doing each other's hair, going camping, and eventually raising their families together. After Alishia's time in high school, she worked as a self-employed house cleaner.

Alishia leaves behind her life partner, Michael Luciano; daughters, Isabella and Sarina Luciano; and dog, Pyro. She was a loving mother, cared deeply, and looked for the good in all people. Alishia treasured the time she got to spend with her family and her daughters were the most important part of her life.

Her friends and family will remember Alishia as a bubbly free spirit who loved to joke around, try new things, and embark on adventures. Her smile was always there, and she happily supported those who leaned on her. Alishia enjoyed tattooing, listening to music (rock, rap, and hip-hop), doing hair and makeup, and hiking with her mom and stepdad.

Alishia's greatest challenge in life was accepting help. She will be greatly missed by the friends and family her life touched, especially her beloved daughters.
