Bobby E. Sands, 52, died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his Marion residence.
Bobby was born in Huntington, Indiana on July 2, 1969, son of the late Bobby J. Sands and the late Susan K. (Jones) Sands. He graduated from Huntington North High School in 1988.
He married Melissa L. (Rennaker) Sands on July 1, 1995. Bobbie loved NASCAR, basketball, fishing, rabbit and deer hunting and traveling. He especially loved to go on cruises with his wife Melissa.
Bobby is survived by his wife Melissa; brother, Lloyd Sands; nephew, Bobby A. Sands; father-in-law Dale Rennaker; many nieces and nephews; and his four legged children, Copper and Raven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby J. and Susan (Jones) Sands, and mother-in-law, Elizabeth (Dailey) Rennaker.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where a visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.. The service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ben Langs officiating. A burial at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, Indiana to follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grant County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in remembrance of Bobby.
