Terry Grimmer
July 14, 1947 - June 14, 2022

Terry was born July 14, 1947 in Edina, Missouri, the daughter of Oliver and Rosemary Goodwin Riley. She married Ted Grimmer on May 28, 1977, in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on September 6, 2018.

Terry was a 1965 graduate of Quincy High School. After graduating from nursing school, she went on to work in the office of Dr. David Lockhart for over 30 years. Terry was always there to take care of those she loved. She was the backbone of the family and was always there to listen, never criticize, and offer sagely advice to those who needed it. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include: a son, James Wilson of Quincy; three step children, Tina (Scott) Koontz of Quincy, Kimberly Grimmer Kenady of Quincy, and Amy Grimmer Allen of Fayetteville, NC; nine grandchildren, Jamie and Jenna Wilson, Katelyn (Taylor) Hockman, Matthew Koontz, Taylor (Kody) Wiewel, Hilary, and Ross Riley, and Hannah and Jacob Allen; five great grandchildren; and six siblings, Harvey G. Riley of Bucklin, MO, Michael Dixson of Quincy, Tami Dixson Short of Quincy, Donna Riley Smith of Columbus, MO, Kathryn Riley Gall of Bucklin, MO, and Bryan Riley of Bucklin, MO.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Riley and Rosemary Dixson, and a sister Vickie Riley Larkins.

Graveside Services: 10:00 am Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Greenmount Cemetery, with Rev. Timothy A. White officiating. Inurnment will follow. There will be no visitation.
