Harold L. Howard, age 86, of Quincy, died Monday, June 13, 2022, at 7:30 pm in Golden Good Shepherd Home.
Harold was born August 9, 1935 in Versailles, IL, the son of Charles M. and Hazel P. Stone Howard. He married Rena Belle Miller in Hannibal, MO. She preceded him in death on August 9, 2019.
Harold attended Mount Sterling High School. He worked for many years as a truck driver for SisBro Trucking in Quincy. In his spare time, Howard enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, and playing cards. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Survivors include: a daughter, Brenda (Mike) Johnson, and a son, Danny Howard, both of Quincy; six grandchildren, Kerry Howard, Tyler (Laura) Little, Brooke Little, Michelle (Reed Cox) Johnson, Alexandrea (Blake) Baucom, and Ashlen (Kevin Carter) Johnson; eight great grandchildren, Myla and Maisyn Baucom, Emery and Ellie Carter, Harrison and Evelyn Little, and Calum and Hallie Cox; and three siblings, Donna Naughton, Robert Guy Howard, and Terry Howard.
Harold was preceded in death by: his parents, a great grandson, Maverick Cox; and a brother Charles Wayne Howard.
Private inurnment will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
