Patricia Lynn Vogel passed away on February 21, 2022 At Up Health Systems in Marquette MI after a two year battle with ALS. She was 51 years old.
Born in Ypsilanti in 1970, Patty settled in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, a graduate of Sault Area High School. She was a lifelong cashier where she could be spotted at the Midjim, the casino gift shop and Walmart throughout her life.
Patty married her husband, Brian in September of 2000. They had been married for 21 years until her passing.
Patty enjoyed baking, building puzzles, watching TV and building puzzles with her sister and brother. She also had the greatest companion in her chocolate lab, Jasper.
Patty was preceded in death by her father, David Rapson and her husband, Brian Vogel.
Patty was survived by her mother, Rita Mckerchie; sister, Ann (Phil) Pemberton; brothers, Rich (Connie Rolson) Rapson and Kirk Rapson; special nephew, Chris (Beth) Hebert; aunts, Susan Cruickshank and Jackie Mckerchie; step-children, Brian (Alyssa) Vogel and Ashley Vogel; as well as many other nieces and nephews and cousins.
Patty will be interred at Riverside Cemetery in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan at 2 pm on Sunday, June 26th 2022.
