Vogel, Ronnie (Ron). February 10, 1947, to June 5, 2022, Omaha, Nebraska. Born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Age: 75 years, 3 months, 26 days. Preceded in death by father, Leslie Vogel; grandson, Mitchell Rosenthal; brother-in-law, Darrell Nelson. Survived by wife of 27 years, Genevieve Vogel; son, Scott Vogel; daughter, Lisa Rosenthal (Rich); grandchildren Mikayla, Emily, and Elizabeth Rosenthal; mother, Ruth Vogel; sisters: Darleen Nelson, Joyce Good (Ron); brother, Bill Vogel; stepchildren, John Hawkins of Greeley, CO, Christine (David) Poindexter of Zimmerman, MN, and Timothy Hawkins of Fountain, CO; many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
The family will receive family and friends for a Vigil Service on Saturday, June 11th, from 10 am to 11 am. Mass of Christian Burial at a later date in Marion, SD. Memorials to be directed by the family or to the Humane Society.
