Ralph D. Taylor Jr.
Canton - Ralph D. Taylor Jr., 69, of Canton, passed away, Friday, June 3, 2022, at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria.
He was born on June 3, 1953, in Canton, to Ralph D. Taylor Sr. and Ruby (Phillips) Taylor. They preceded him in death along with one son, Mark Coulter, one grandson, Zach Taylor, ten siblings, and his favorite cat Milo.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Crystal (Pollitt) Taylor, whom he married on June 2, 2005.
Also surviving are six children, Holly Jo (Robert) Martin, Ralph D. Taylor III, Marla (Barry) Coulter, Richard "Jake" Coulter, Nathan (Michaela) Taylor, and Emily (Bryce) Philbee, one sister, Sandy (Rick) Mulligan, one brother, Richard "Dick" Taylor, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous nieces' nephews and cousins.
Ralph was a truck driver for many years, he enjoyed fishing, and watching NASCAR. He like to spend his free time camping and hanging out at the campground at Canton Lake. Ralph was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, but most of all he loved spending time with friends and his family.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
