Evelyn Elizabeth Proctor, age 101, of Ellisville, Missour, formerly of Quincy, Illinois, died on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 5:10 p.m. in Bethesda Meadows, Ellisville, Missouri.
She was born November 29, 1920 in Quincy, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Selma R. Hagenah Meierant. On October 23, 1942, she married Charles W. Proctor in the Old St. Paul Evangelical Church in Quincy. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2002.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ where she was a Church Elder and a charter member of the Fireside Club. She was Past Worthy High Priestess of Miriam Shrine #3, a 50 year member of Alpha Chapter #109 Order of Eastern Star, and a life member of Good Samaritan Auxiliary.
Survivors include a brother, Melvin W. Meierant of Glen Carbon, IL; niece, Barbara Jo Barthi and her husband Steven, Edwardsville, IL; nephew, Thomas Meierant and his wife Patricia, Wildwood, MO; great niece, Lacey Jo Barthi Anderson and her husband William of Joliet, IL; great nephews, Kayle Barthi, Jonathon Meierant, and Christopher (Stephanie) Meierant; Great-grandnieces, Amelia and Aberdeen Anderson, and great-grandnephews Landon and Jordan Meierant.
Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenmount Cemetery with Rev. Timothy A. White officiating.
There will be no visitation
