Norma Katherine "Kate" Rosa
Canton - Norma Katherine "Kate" Rosa, 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born on June 12, 1929, in Arenzville, Illinois, to Ralph and Sarah (Dodds) Crumley. They preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Michael Peterson of Dunfermline, Dennis Underwood of Canton, Monica (Randy) Childers of Trivoli, and Rhonda (Jerry) Bishop of Canton; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death are three children, Bruce Gordon Howerter, Janet Lawver, Todd Rawley, one brother, Clyde Crumley, two sisters, Mildred Gooch and Alberta Barnes.
Kate worked her entire life as a chef, lastly working at Wee-Ma-Tuk Hills Country Club. She was a member of the Calvery Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and gardening.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 1pm at the Orendorff Cemetery in Rural Canton. There will be no visitation. Family will receive friends at the Canton VFW immediately following the graveside.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton has been entrusted with services.
Memorials can be made to Fulton County Humane Society.
