Lukas R. Goforth
Canton-Lukas Goforth, 19, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
He was born on March 3, 2003 in Peoria to Trent and Chantel (Yocum) Goforth. They survive.
Also surviving are his twin sisters, Ella and Jena, Paternal grandparents, Kent and Ronda Goforth of Lewistown, Maternal grandparents, Larry and Jowanna Yocum of Canton, Uncles, Todd (Theresa) Goforth of Cuba, Ryan Yocum of Canton, and cousins, Tristan, Taryn and Trever.
Lukas graduated from Canton High School where he played baseball and football. He was currently attending Spoon River College and was a member of the baseball team. He was a member of 1st Christian Church and enjoyed to hunt and fish with his uncle Ryan. Most of all he enjoyed hanging out with his friends.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial of the ashes was held at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. There will be no visitation. A celebration of his life will be held on July 9, 2022, from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Canton Elk's Lodge.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton has been entrusted with services.
Memorials may be made to a Scholarship fund C/O Spoon River College Foundation.
