SHEILA I. GUSTAFSON
February 2, 1966 - May 21, 2022

Sheila I. Gustafson, 56, of Ishpeming, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at her home.

Sheila was born on February 2, 1966 in Marquette to the late Martin and Marilyn
(Corbine) French. She was a graduate of Marquette Senior High School.

Sheila was employed throughout the years with the Mining Journal, Kountry
Korners and the Landmark. She enjoyed journaling, the outdoors and nature and
spending time with her grandchildren. Sheila also loved music and enjoyed
participating in karaoke nights. She was an active member of the Lac Courte
Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians.

Sheila is survived by her three daughters, Alyssa (Steven) Fenton of Long View,
Tx, Samantha French and Rylee Barto, both of Gwinn; grandchildren, Cooper,
Casen, Marty, Madison, Mason and Isabelle; step-mother, Joann French of Gwinn;
two sisters, Cheryl (Michael) Brister of Kelso, WA and Angelique French of
Gwinn; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Sheila's life will be held on Friday, June 3 rd at 2 p.m. at the Gwinn VFW.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sheila's name to St. Vincent de Paul
of Ishpeming, 322 Cleveland Ave., Ishpeming, MI 49849
