In loving memory of

Dolores Jean Munster
March 14, 1935 - May 14, 2022

Dolores Jean Munster of Phoenix, Arizona passed away May 14, 2022, at the age of 87. She was born in Spokane, Washington on March 14, 1935, one of five children. "Honey" met her "Bear" Stephen J. H. Munster Sr., while he was serving in the Air Force. They married in 1955 and had four children together. She retired from Valley National Bank and ran S&T Hydraulics with Steve for over 20 years. She spent much of her time with her grandchildren, volunteering and was part of many clubs and groups.

Dolores was an active member of the Sunnyslope Village Alliance, serving as Chairwoman of the Membership and Directory Committees for five years. Dee and Steve were involved in their church and were active members of many groups throughout the time they attended together. Dolores was heavily involved with St. Paul's Church where she was a member of the Harvest House and the Woman's Guild. Dolores was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Sew and Sew, and spent time as an instructor, teaching others how to expertly decorate cakes.
.
Dolores was always the life of the party and lit up every room she entered. Her extremely quick wit and remarkable sense of humor not only had everyone she met on their toes but left a lasting impression in the hearts of all who knew her. Dolores was generous, not only with her money, but with her time. She spent countless hours devoted to the community and to her family, making sure every event was one to be remembered. Dolores lived life on her own terms and did things her way, refusing to accept mediocre. She showed the younger generations how to stand up and work for what you believe in, not just through her words, but through actions. Dolores believed that you should always leave any place in the world better than how you found it.

Dolores would be proud to know that she certainly left each individual whose life she touched far better than how she found them. While Dolores will be greatly missed, her love, passion and stories will live on for many generations to come.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband Stephen J. H. Munster Sr., her daughter Jeanne White, her grandson Christopher Reed, and her great-grandson Matthew Munster. She is survived by her sister, Maryanne Stone; her three children Steve Jr., Cindy (Reed), and Thomas; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Her loving granddaughter Constance White had the privilege and honor of caring for Dolores for the past year
