Bert "Bertha" Jamieson, 88, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
A prayer service will be 10:30 AM Monday, May 30, 2022 in the chapel of Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Bert is survived by her children Greg Jamieson and his wife Linda Boedeker of Colorado Springs, CO and Mindy Jamieson of Fort Dodge.
Bert Hiel Ober was born October 31, 1933 in Fort Dodge. She attended area schools and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. Shortly after graduation she was united in marriage to Donald Jamieson. The couple later divorced. Bert worked all her life and retired after 20 years with Northwest Iowa Tours. She was able to escort tour groups to Hawaii, Alaska, and the Panama Canal. She was extremely proud of her children and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed taking cruises, visiting the mountains, and being in nature. She liked playing slot machines and was an avid baker. Bert took great pride in her home and loved Iowa Hawkeye football.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.
