Diana (Kim) Leigh Minasian
October 5, 1945 - May 12, 2022

Diana Leigh "Kim" Minasian passed suddenly and unexpectedly from this life May 12th, 2022, due to complications from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. She passed peacefully, with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Fred. Her children Allen Dale, wife Kathy and grandson Allen Matthew, Andrea Rose, husband Scott Jessup,and grandchildren Cailin Rose and Colin James. She is also survived by her siblings; Marty, Gayle, Stephanie, Doug, Dale, and respective families, her sister-in-law Marian and family and recently discovered sister Ramona. She was preceded in death by her mother Maida, sister Jeri Lynn & brother-in-Law Terry DiPaolo.

Diana, affectionately known as Kim, was born in Richmond CA in 1945 to Maida Turnbull. Diana and her mother spent her early years moving about the Midwest before finally settling in Boulder CO. She graduated from Boulder High School in 1963, attended Jr. college for a bit, and even sang back up in a band. She moved to Southern CA in 1967.

Diana/Kim's professional career was long, varied and always marked by excellence. From selling home based cosmetics line Vivienne Woodard in Lynwood CA, to the high-end Estee Lauder line in Newport Beach, CA She sold Clairol beauty products, office machines & office products. No matter the product or service she was selling, she always knew how to "ask for the sale" with grace and style. Her career in the medical field began as a medical staff Coordinator/Director for various facilities in the Palm Desert, CA area including Eisenhower Medical Center and John F Kennedy Memorial Hospital. A move to the Sacramento area in 2000 found Kim working with Dignity Health as the Medical Staff Director for Mercy Folsom Hospital. Her integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail earned her the respect and admiration of her medical and professional colleagues. She retired from Mercy Folsom in 2016.

Kim was a singularly dynamic woman with a laugh that was huge and a heart that loved unconditionally. She was tender and fierce, opinionated & stylish. She could do math in her head & win an argument graciously. She withstood and held her ground in the face of many soul-crushing adversities that she experienced during her life. She valued style; could make a house look like a Pottery Barn photo shoot for a fraction of the cost and was never afraid to try something new. She loved anything teal , good southwestern art and coral lip gloss. Her cooking skills were extraordinary! From holiday gatherings to a quick breakfast before running errands, her dishes were inventive and so very delicious. She. was a truly beautiful woman in every sense of the word. As a mother she was our biggest cheerleader, our sounding board, our teacher and our protector. We learned strength, resilience, work ethic and integrity by watching her example. As a wife to Fred, she was his cherished Kimmie - his best friend. Through the years they enjoyed road trips throughout the western United States, a trip to the Cayman Islands, and yearly business trips to Hawaii that always managed to coincide with her birthday! They enjoyed a good "Happy Hour, good food and the company of friends. Fred and Kim retired to Scottsdale AZ in 2020 and were so thrilled to be living in a beautiful condo overlooking the desert towards Phoenix. One of Kim's greatest joys was seeing her children marry loving, supportive partners and watching their respective families grow. As a grandma she was fun, just indulgent enough, a great listener and known as Glamour Grandma.

Diana/Kim's life was one well lived, and we are heartbroken it that it was taken from her so unexpectedly. She did not wish to have a public memorial nor a funeral service.
