Caleb Wear, 40, of Glenwood, IA passed away at the University of Nebraska Medical Center on Saturday, May 21,2022 in Omaha, NE. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood with Pastor Susan Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Farm Creek Cemetery in rural Henderson, IA. Visitation with the family present will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 30, 2022 at the funeral home. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Caleb and his family.

In lieu of flower memorials are suggested to the family.

Caleb Daniel Wear, one of two children of Michael Clark and Julie Anne (Bowen) Wear, was born on December 17, 1981 in Menomonie, WI. He grew up in Henderson, IA and attended Nishna Valley schools. Caleb was blessed with two sons, Austin and Connor.
Caleb enjoyed anything to do with his kids, from watching and attending all the school and sports events they were involved in. He loved being around his family and was often referred to as a bonus dad or bonus uncle. He was loved by everyone. He enjoyed anything motorcycles, especially the bonds built in the club, and had quite the knife collection.
Caleb is preceded by his mother Julie; and both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Caleb is survived by his sons, Austin and Connor Wear, of Glenwood; father Michael Wear and his wife Amy of Council Bluffs; sister Carissa (CJ) Wear of Council Bluffs; nephew John Wayne Morris Jr; niece Iliana Anne Morris; significant other Courtney Meyer of Glenwood and her children, Kloey, Katie and Duane; other relatives and a host of many friends.
