"Verne, Pat and Troy, Pam and Heriberto, Mackinzie and Reagan-it is with so much sadness in our hearts that we send our most sincere condolences to all of you. We are so very sorry for your loss, and you know how much we loved her. She was a second mother to me whom I so adored. Her humor, love for her girls and grandchildren, and my memories of her as we were growing up will always hold a special place in my heart. She was such a great friend to my mom, and it was so nice that they were able to work so many years together. She made the best caramels in the world and her macaroni salad was one that would always be a must have at any family event. There just are not any words to take away your sadness but please know that Darren and I would do anything in the world to help you through this most sorrowful time. We love you all and know that we are praying for strength and God's loving arms to be wrapped around you. With most sincere sympathy and sadness, Sandra and Darren"
