Patrick Rea Franevsky

Patrick Rea Franevsky passed away after a long struggle with cancer at the age of 63 on May 4th, 2022 at this home in Phoenix, Arizona. He is survived by his brothers, Michael and Leslie Franevsky, their wives, Karen and Gail; niece, Ann Paitel and her husband, John; nephew, Bill Franevsky; and grand nephews, Conner and Ian Paitel; of the the Phoenix area.
Patrick was born on October 19, 1958 in Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Central High School in 1975 and earned an Associates Degree in Information Technology at Phoenix College. He worked as a computer operator at PCS for many years. Later in life he earned a Pharmacy Technicians License and worked at Express Scripts.
Patrick was diagnosed with color cancer in 2008. His boundless optimism, indomitable spirit, and down right stubbornness enabled him to survive this terrible disease for fourteen years. Through multiple surgeries, chemo and radiation therapies, he never gave up or despaired.
In his last years, Pat derived much comfort and joy from the two dogs he rescued, Buddy and Lucy. Those wishing to make a donation in his honor are encouraged to donate to a local no-kill animal rescue organization of their choice.
