Janice Marie Jones
February 4, 1973 - April 26, 2022

Janice Jones, 49, passed away suddenly on April 29th, 2022. She was born in Kentucky, but spent her formative years in Kalispell, Montana. A graduate of Flathead High School, Jan took her passion for knowledge and love of science to Montana State University where she earned a degree in Microbiology. Her journey continued to Arizona where she built a career in lab sciences and raised a family. At work, she was an innovator, leader, and mentor. At home, she was a proud mom, loving sister and wonderful aunt. She will forever be known for her sharp wit, infectious smile, and heart of gold. She was a trivia buff, a lover of music and travel, and enjoyed spending time hiking and camping.
Janice is survived by her son, Willis Jones, sisters Billie Davis and Tammi Sheumaker, and brother Mikey Chavis.
