"Tim and I were close friends beginning in junior high school and all the way through the first two years of college when we were music majors at Rhode Island College. He is responsible for inspiring me to get into music and record collecting in the first place. Later on I sold him my record collection and we gradually drifted apart. It was a joy to reconnect with him the last three months. His sense of humor was really off beat! Condolences and prayers sent for his family and friends. "

Timothy M. Hume, 65, of Woonsocket, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in his home. He was the son of the late Arthur and Joan (Gibson) Hume.
Timothy worked as a security guard for EMC. He enjoyed music, and especially his record collection. He could figure out any pattern that was put in front of him, in a matter of minutes. He also enjoyed watching cooking shows, like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
He is survived byhis brother Jonathan Hume, of Bellingham, MA; He was predeceased by his brother Christopher Hume.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Food Bank, 24 Hamlet Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
