Patricia Ann Berech, 86, of Phoenix, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022. Patricia was born on March 16, 1936 to Vernon and Cecilia Treiber in Phoenix. After completing a degree in education, she became a special education teacher. She met her husband, Bill, also a teacher, while living in Douglas, Arizona. They were devoted to one another and happily married for 57 years. Patricia and Bill had 3 children, who are also teachers. Patricia loved to spend her free time visiting with her children and grandchildren, reading mystery novels, giving gifts to charities and family members, taking care of her dogs, and looking forward to the next vacation in San Diego. She was also phenomenal at crossword puzzles. On Sundays, other family members would start the puzzle and Patricia would fill in all the answers that no one else could find. She was always available to listen with a kind word and gentle smile. Her family loved her deeply and are devastated at her loss. Patricia was predeceased by her husband Bill. She is survived by her three children, Cheryl, Bill, and Carolyn, her grandchildren, Shane, Nadia, Ramzi, Cody, Seth, Brock, and Shea, and her great granddaughter Avra. Services will be held at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, on Saturday, May 21, at 11:00 AM.
