Terry Paige Kohel
December 27, 1944 - April 24, 2022

Terry Paige Kohel, age 77, the son of Elmer F. and Camille (Kunc) Kohel, was born December 27, 1944 at Friend, Nebraska. He passed away April 24, 2022 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Terry is survived by his wife, Leann Kohel; daughter, Kim Regan (Don); granddaughter, Danielle Christensen; sister, Diane Steinauer (Steven); nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Terry graduated Omaha Benson in 1963. He was in the Army National Guard in 1966 and served 4 years before being honorably discharged in 1970. He joined the apprenticeship for the Plumbers Union, and he was employed for 42 years as a plumber. He retired in 2007. Terry met Leann on July 15, 1978, on a blind date. They married August 3, 1979. He was very active in the Shriner's organization in the Provost unit. Terry and Leann became members of the Benson Church of Christ in 1997. He was on the church board and oversaw the church maintenance. He enjoyed time with family and friends. He was a very caring and generous grandfather. He will be greatly missed! A Celebration of Life will be held at the Benson Church of Christ, 2704 N 58th, Omaha, on May 7th from 2-5pm. Light refreshments will be served.
