"Rest in Heaven Barb. We had a lot of fun growing up even though we got into some mischief a couple times. Sorry you are gone."
Barbara Jean McManus Daniels went home to Jesus on March 26, 2022, at age 70. She was a bright star in this world, and she will be missed by many friends and family members.
Barbara was born to John F. McManus and Patricia J. Christman on August 8, 1951 in Logansport, Indiana. As a child, she loved to ride horses, dance and spend time with her family. Barbara attended high school in Logansport, Indiana and graduated in 1970.
Barbara married David Brooks on October 18, 1970, and soon after, they welcomed their son Brian Brooks. In the 1980's, Barbara moved to Arizona and pursued a career as a Leasing Agent. She eventually moved on to caregiving for the elderly, which she absolutely loved to do. She also had a passion for working with children, and she loved taking care of the babies at Tempe Christian Preschool. Barbara also attended Mesa Community
College in the early 2000's.
In 2000, Barbara met her husband Stephen Daniels, and they got married on January 26, 2002. Barbara also gained her son Scott Daniels and her daughter Stacey Budoff, and she cherished her role as a Stepmother. In addition to being a dedicated wife and mother, Barbara also loved volunteering at Desert Christian Fellowship, singing in the church choir, finding the newest fashion trends, shopping, and spending time with her best friend Toni. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those around her.
Barbara joins her parents, John and Patricia in heaven. She is survived by her husband Stephen Daniels, her brother John (Linda) McManus, her children Brian (Erika) Brooks, Scott (Stacy) Daniels and Stacey Budoff, her 10 grandchildren Bella, Diego, Chase, Madisyn, Preston, Rowyn, Landon, Ethan, Connor and Eulalia, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of a traditional funeral service, our family is hosting a Celebration of Life on April 23rd at 11:00am at Desert Christian Fellowship - 1445 W. Northern Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85021. Flowers are welcome to be sent to the church address.

"Barbie Jean was my younger cousin. I remember meeting the train when it pulled into the train station in Cincinnati, OH. She came off that train all bouncy and bubbly ready to play. We visited every summer and I looked forward to their visits because I had someone I could boss. She will be missed. God has gained an angel."
"My beautiful and loving Stepmother. You were an amazing woman, and now you are whole! We miss you so much. "
