"Alene was always an energetic bright spot in family gatherings. Her amazing voice blended so well with David, Linda and Karen?s. We worked together a few times at Crystal Catering decades ago. She was such a great person to work with because she was confident and worked hard plus a lively conversationalist when we had a few minutes of downtime. She?s always been a beautiful woman whom I have admired. I?m so sorry for David?s devastating loss but at the same time I am relieved she was released from the ravages of ALS. See you at the Big Family Reunion, Alene. With much love to David and your family, Susan and James "
