Margaret "Elaine" Bosshard
September 1, 1960 - March 31, 2022
Margaret "Elaine" Bosshard passed away on Thursday March 31st 2022 in La Habra, CA at the age of 61. She was born on September 1st, 1960 in Alpine, TX and moved to West Virginia with her mother and sister, Evonne, and later Southern California as a teen.
On Elaine's 16th birthday, she met the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Ronald Bosshard. They married on July 29th 1977, and wasted no time starting their family with two beautiful daughters.
Elaine loved to hang out with her grandchildren, shop, camp out at the beach and the River, study the Bible, and craft. Her love for her grandchildren inspired her strength as well as her love for Jehovah. She was a devout Jehovah's Witness her entire life.
In 2015, Elaine was diagnosed with an extremely rare appendiceal cancer. She recovered from many surgeries, dozens of rounds of chemotherapy and intense, unrelenting pain. 14% of people diagnosed with Stage IV Appendix Cancer survive past 5 years, Elaine survived almost 7, which is a testament to her resilience. She won her final battle and is now resting eternally.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronald; Children Amber Peru and Amy Sharp. Grandchildren Taylor Fobes, Stevie Peru, Aiden Peru and Savvy Sharp.
A memorial will be held in private.
