William "Bill" Roberts Sr, 85, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Farmington Country Manor.
He was born on November 11, 1936 in Ipava to Charles and Edna (Fitch) Roberts.
He married Roberta Kruzan on July 28, 1956 in Kirksville, Mo. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are his children, William "Bill" (Debbie) Roberts Jr. of Canton, Tina (Jerry) McKean of Peoria, nine grandchildren, Erin (Steve), Becky, Erika (Kevin), Timothy (Kim), Nathan (Sara), Jared, Jeff, Katie, Krissy and ten great grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death is one brother, Howard and one sister, Ramona Vance.
Bill retired from Caterpillar in 1990 and was a member of Faith Christian Family Church. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and car racing especially helping his son work on his car. Most of all Bill's family was the most important part of his life.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton from noon-1 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be held following the funeral at the Wiley Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Faith Christian Family Church.
