Survived by his beloved wife, Dona, and several nieces and nephews. Married 51 years and had a predeceased son, Daniel. Was a staff sergeant in the 82nd airborne division during the Korean War.
He had a long and memorable career with the USPS, holding positions of increasing responsibility during his supervisory years and rose into the ranks and retired as Director of Operations. He was known as a trouble shooter using analytical and decisive managerial skills as a problem solver.
In addition, he was a chief negotiator in postal union dealings on new contracts and a management representative in arbitration hearings.
While friends and family will miss him greatly, they will always remember him as a friend, neighbor, volunteer, fellow Knight, and active supporter of many charitable organizations. We thank God for the many blessings He provided during his extended stay on earth.
