Meryl Stirling Bassett of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022. We will miss her grace, elegance and sense of humor. She loved art, fashion, public speaking, travel and ballroom dancing.
She was born in Baton Rouge, LA and grew up with her sisters Francis and Elizabeth. She married William Bassett and they lived all over the United States and in the U.K. as they raised their three sons Neal (Carol), Paul (Deanna) and Chuck (Krystal). She had five grandchildren: Brianna (Tanner), Donavan, Chris, Savannah and Porter.
