Judy D. Wolven
September 20, 1958 - March 22, 2022

Judy Wolven, 63, passed away March 22, 2022. She was born in Washington September 20, 1958, to Kenneth and Edith (Hedrick) Trayler. On July 1, 1977, she married Gary L. Wolven. He preceded her in death on July 4, 2017.

Judy graduated from the Vincennes University School of Nursing and most recently worked at the Loogootee Nursing Center. She was an avid mushroom hunter, and loved gardening and knitting. She was known to be an excellent cook - chili was her specialty. Judy's favorite time was spent being with her family. She was a devoted mom, sister, aunt, and great aunt.

Those who now miss Judy and mourn her passing include her son, Darrell Wolven of Washington; her brother, Brent Trayler; and her sisters, Kathy Bezy and Denise (Pat) Strange.

Judy is now reunited with her husband as well as other loved ones who preceded her in death: parents, Kenneth and Edith Trayler; siblings, Darrell Hedrick, Michael Trayler, Dale Trayler, Deroy Lynn Trayler, and Georgia Catt; infant niece, Shauna Trayler; and nephews Jeremy Wolven and Christopher Strange.

There will be a graveside service for Judy Wolven, 11:00 am, Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Oak Grove Cemetery Reeve Township, 9498 East 700 South, Cannelburg. Father Scott Hedrick will officiate.
