In loving memory of

Larry Lee Segner
December 2, 1941 - March 24, 2022

Larry Lee Segner passed away on March 24th with his beloved wife Judy and his daughter, Deborah by his side.

Born in Elverson, Pennsylvania on December 2nd 1941, Larry was the only child of Harvey and Grace (Koch) Segner. He is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Judith Arlene (Styer), his daughter Deborah Bennett and her husband, James Bennett in addition to his three grandchildren: Christopher James Segner, Rhea Howard and Christin Rachel Howard. He was preceded in death by his son, James Brian Segner.

In addition to his family, Larry loved cars, golf and Budweiser (not necessarily in that order). He and his son shared a love of drag racing and the family spent many weekends at the track with multiple cars including a much beloved '69 Chevelle emblazoned with the words 'Segner Racing'. He retired from Yellow Freight as a truck driver to realize his dream of an early retirement to the Sunshine State.

Upon arriving in the Villages he and Judy took up the great art of getting a small ball into a small hole placed over a hundred yards away. In his tenure as a 'man of golf' he achieved 4 hole-in-ones - his wife tying his record soon before his death. In his retirement Larry also discovered his drag racing skills were of use. At the 2005 Villages Golf Cart Drag Race he took first place with a time of 6.345.

Larry will be remembered for his ability to 'debate' many issues, his devotion to his family and to all Philadelphia sports teams, even in the lean times, and to his singular answer when asked how he was doing. Always declaring he was, "wonderful good".

We love you Larry and know you are forever 'wonderful, good' and will 'always in our hearts'.
