In loving memory of

Madison Fraker
October 9, 2003 - March 26, 2022

A funeral Mass for Madison "Maddie" Fraker, 18, of Algona, was held Saturday, April 2nd, at 10 AM at Divine Mercy Parish ~ St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Algona. The funeral Mass was live streamed on Divine Mercy Parish YouTube page https://youtu.be/ufv0sYzNugI. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Algona.

Madison Renee Fraker was born October 9, 2003, in Algona, the daughter of Chris Fraker and Jaime McEnroe. Madison was a Senior at Algona High School. She was looking forward to her graduation in May and seeing what the future held for her. Madison grew up in the Algona area and made numerous friends in her brief 18 years, many of them have not left the family's home since hearing the news on Saturday. She was known amongst her friends and family to be sarcastic, have a very outgoing personality, an infectious smile and an equally infectious laugh and giggle. Madison lived for the moment.

Her fun style and personality came through on the family texts, which often began with "Public Service Announcement" -- even if they didn't contain information of real importance. Family meant a great deal, but one of the most special relationships in Madison's life was with both of her grandmas. She loved spending time with each of them, especially at the lake. Grandma was a great back-up plan when it came to meals also. Madison would often check in to see what was for supper that evening. If the menu at home wasn't to her liking, she would find out what Grandma was having and eat there. Growing up in a large extended family, Madison learned early on to be very outspoken. Even if some people joked she was too much so, they all agreed if given the chance she would hold her own against any lawyer or judge in an argument. Win or lose, she always made her point or just told people to, "Pipe their Squawk!"

She worked at Exceptional Opportunities which spoke volumes about the person that she was. It takes a special person to give care to others and Madison was perfect for that care. She will be remembered wholeheartedly for putting others first and wanting to care for others.

She is survived by her parents, Chris and Angie Fraker of Algona and Jaime McEnroe (Mike Schneider) of West Bend; two sisters, Morgan and Alayna Fraker; four step-siblings, Teagen, Dusty, Shelby, and Londyn Schneider; her maternal grandparents, Rexann and Jim McEnroe of Algona; her paternal grandparents, Rose and Doug Molacek of Algona and Fred and Sharon McPherson of Fort Dodge; and her maternal and paternal great-grandmothers, Jeanette McEnroe and Rosemary Vaske of Algona. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, and cousins, Chad (Andrea) McEnroe of Urbandale and their children Caden and Aida, Stephanie (Aaron) Eggert of Grimes and their children Mack and Drew, Jeremy (Erin) Fraker of Bancroft and their children Jason (Bailee), Blake, Shelby, and Courtney, Katie (Cory) Connelly of Algona and their children Izzy, Griffin, and Clara; Neely Congleton of Alabama and her children Kaili and Kaitlyn, Deb (Randy) Gregerson of Moorland, Roger Mueller of Carlisle and his children Micah (Kelsey) Moeller and Colton (Lea Hauge) Moeller, Terry McPherson of Fort Dodge and son Tyler, and Scott (Clarice Steinbach) McPherson of West Des Moines; and many other relatives and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harry Fraker; her maternal great-grandparents, James T. McEnroe and Rex and Patricia Voyles; her paternal great-grandparents, Allen Vaske and Harry and Marcie Fraker; an aunt, Kathy Mueller; and a great-uncle, Steve Voyles.

"Dear Jamie, Chris, Angie and loved ones, Some thoughts I\'ve had since learning of your grief and loss- when Madison passed away-the saddest loss you have ever known...our deepest sympathy and prayers be with you. I\'m imagining that the first person up in Heaven who came to welcome his GREAT granddaughter \'Home\' might be Grandpa Vaske! Now he is the one who is running and jumping all over! Know that he has been catching your tears & holding your hearts in his as he prays for you to feel hugged & held in the hands of Jesus. Besides wanting comfort and peace for you, Grandpa Vaske wants you to know, he\'ll keep Maddie close and see her falling in love with Jesus. They\'ll be thinking of you all the time and wildly looking forward to the day we\'ll all be there jumping with them for JOY for JESUS! We all know the tears may not stop until the angels come for all the rest of us. So we hope as you travel each day down your road to eternity, you\'ll also be able to laugh a little while you imagine the other side. May God always send you His angels of love, too & sometimes He sends \"angels with skin on.\" Peace and prayers, Barb and Ken Vaske "
