Agatha T. Butcher
January 21, 1933 - March 16, 2022

Agatha T. "Mickey" Butcher was born on January 21st, 1933, to Peter J. Kaepplinger and Agatha M. Kaepplinger (née Reuter) in Chicago, IL. She grew up in Chicago and attended Resurrection High School. After graduating from Rosary College in Illinois, Mickey worked many years as a teacher at Immaculate Conception Parish School in Chicago. After retirement, she relocated to Stone Mountain, GA, with her husband Dale. While in Georgia, Mickey was highly active at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, specifically in their choir. Mickey enjoyed volunteering her time at her church and at St. Vincent de Paul. She also enjoyed caring for the birds and other animals that were located on her and Dale's property. Mickey and Dale later moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where she became active with the choir at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church.

Mickey is survived by her six children, Robert Bied (Margaret), Jules Piljagic (Danny), Mark Bied (Janet), Mary Bied (Steven), Dr. Paul Bied (Debbie), and Joan Lossman (Paul), all of whom she loved very much; twelve grandchildren, Jennifer Metz, Rachael Clark (née Piljagic), Daniel Piljagic, Kimberly Metz, Dr. Sarah Lossman, Jordan Lossman (Alexa), Peter Bied LTJG US Coast Guard, Johnathan Bied, Emily Bied, Grace Lossman, Conrad Bied, and Harrison Bied, all of whom she was so proud of; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan Clark and Annabelle Clark. She was well-known and loved by many.

Mickey went home to the Lord on March 16, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old.
