John Jeffery "JJ" Singleton
March 16, 1953 - February 24, 2022

John Jeffery (JJ) Singleton, 68, of Glendale, AZ went to be with his Lord & Savior on February 24, 2022 after a fought hard battle with COVID-19.

JJ was born on March 16, 1953 to Johnnie & Betty Singleton in Kokomo, Indiana. After graduating from high school he joined the United States Marines. He served proudly for six years finishing as a LCPL E3.

JJ started his own company, JJ Singleton Automotive Locksmith and ran this company with pride for over 40 years up until the day of his passing. JJ thoroughly enjoyed being a witness of God's Word to all of his customers.

JJ went on to have three children, Shana Wilson, John Singleton II, and Clinton Singleton. His children were his truest pride and joy.

JJ was a force of nature and a God fearing man that was determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he oftened mentioned.

JJ was very passionate about being an example and worshipping the Word of the Lord to each and everyone he came in contact with. He could often be found at his church, The Shelter, when he wasn't at work or at home.

Anyone who knew JJ knew that he was the most loving father a family could ask for. JJ was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie. He is survived by his three children, Shana Wilson of Velma, OK, John Singleton of Alberqueque, NM, Clinton Singleton of Glendale, AZ and their spouses, six grandchildren, Jacob, Grace, Allison, Weston, Avery, and Annastin, and three siblings, Randy Singleton of Kokomo, IN, Kathy Grham of Rochester, IN, and Julie Payne of Carmel, IN and lots of other family and friends including his pet peacock, Randy.

There will be two viewings at the funeral home at 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ on Wednesday, March 9 from 6PM to 8PM and again Friday, March 11, from 9AM to 11AM. A celebration of life will take place at The Shelter located at 13832 N. 32nd Street, Phoenix, AZ on Thursday, March 10 at 10AM. Burial will take place at National Memorial Cemetery on March 14.
